Dear Seahawk Families,
We experienced yet another wonderful year here at Apopka Memorial Middle School. Recently, we earned the State grade of "A". This now marks three years in a row for our school. In addition, Apopka Memorial Middle School was recognized as a Five-Star School. This is largely in part to all the volunteer time spent at our school by parents and community members. This is true testament that we are in fact a strong community that cares about our students' and providing them with a quality education.
Another success we achieved this year was the establishment of our AMMS Values. This is where we, as a staff, gathered and discussed what is important for us to have present everyday not only for our students but for we as professional educators to be successful in our endeavors. It is when we dialogue about school success factors we continue to better our school and everything we have to offer students, parents, community, and each other. Here at Apopka Memorial Middle School we are proud to say, "Students are our Primary Focus".
With the successes we have had this past year, I am confident we will continue to work towards improving all we have to offer to you as parents and your children. I encourage each of you to remain active members in our school community. Your support will only strengthen our school's goals and efforts. As I have always stated, "Together I know we will make a difference in your child's life." Thank you for all you do to support our school. We couldn't do it without you.
